In the race to see which Glee star will release their debut album first, Lea Michele takes the lead with her announcement today (Dec. 10). Her album, Louder, will drop on March 4, 2014. Although Naya Rivera’s debut single “Sorry” featuring Big Sean dropped in September and landed at No. 37 on Billboard’s Rhythmic chart, she has yet to confirm a release date for her album.
Michele’s debut single “Cannonball” also dropped today. A powerful pop ballad, Michele’s voice soars as she sings, “And now I will start living today/ I close the door/ I got a new beginning/ And I will fly like a cannonball.”
Michele worked with Sia, Christina Perri, Colin Munroe and Stargate on her forthcoming album. The lead single was written by Sia (Christina Aguilera, Katy Perry, David Guetta).
